These terms govern your use of Startup Mastery 3.0, the website and the platform operated by Startup Mastery. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
The service
Startup Mastery 3.0 guides founders through building a startup in five levels, from the first idea to global product-market fit, and connects them with mentors, investors and regional managers. Some features are free; others may require a plan, which we will describe before you choose it.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password safe and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- Mentor and investor roles are granted after a review by the Startup Mastery team, which may decline or withdraw them.
Your content
You keep all rights to the startup data, documents and other content you put on the platform. You give us a limited licence to store, copy and display that content only as needed to run the platform for you, and only to the people your visibility settings allow. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not break anyone else’s rights or the law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or help anyone else to break it;
- upload content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringes anyone’s rights;
- access data you are not allowed to see, or try to get around the platform’s access controls;
- disrupt or overload the platform, or use automated tools to copy its content;
- use information about other startups, mentors or investors for any purpose other than the work they shared it for.
Mentors, investors and regional managers
Mentors, investors and regional managers act on their own behalf. Their comments, confirmations and decisions are their own, not ours. Nothing on the platform is investment, legal, tax or financial advice, and we do not guarantee any investment, partnership or result. Information a startup shares with you is confidential: use it only to work with that startup, and do not pass it on without the founders’ permission.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available and your data safe, but we provide the platform as it is and as available, without promising that it will always work without interruption or error. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to igor@startup-mastery.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the platform at risk; where possible we will tell you why first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business decisions made on the basis of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We publish the new version on this page with a new date and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users before they take effect. If you keep using the platform after that, the new terms apply.
